Dirty politics, made in the Philippines.
The trouble in the political scenario here in the 1st Congressional District of La Libertad is so escalated. Here are the facts:
- A month ago leaders of my progressive partylist, Anakpawis, were framed by elements of the Philippine National Police. Armed with a search warrant they raided there house at the wee hours of the morning. A child witness saw someone drop a gun on the floor. The gun which allegedly is in the possession of the accused don't even have a trace of any of the fingerprints of any of the accused. Hmmm. Suspicious.
- Instead of coordinating with the municipal police where the accused resides, the provincial police instead used the police of La Libertad for the reason that they needed a female officer to accompany them given that the concerned were females. Coincidence?
Totoy : Guihulngan also has a lady police officer, why not use her?
Pulis : It's a covert operation, we were just afraid the police in Guihulngan (the jurisdiction where the arrest happened) would tip the accused.
Totoy : I see... trust... hmmm... i just wonder... - The biggest threat to the incumbent congressman in the district is the incumbent mayor of La Libertad. Oppsss...
- Because of this, and maybe with other facts (private post... sorry)
that I don't have with me, the progressives came to the conclusion that my candidate has a hand on the said arrest. True? - Because of the accusation, the camp of the congressional aspirant from La Libertad believes that the progressives are being used by the incumbent congressman for his political gains. Their question, are they that gullible? Would there be any money involved in this?
- A month ago, the strongest supporter of the mayor from La Libertad were ambushed by elements of the separatist armed group the Communist Party of the Philippines - New People's Army. Together with these so-called innocent and kind victims were hired goons, which the ambushed leader hired from Mindanao and Leyte. Apparently they were his friends from the CAFGU or the civilian arm of the Armed Forces.
- The CPP-NPA admitted of the purging (http://www.philippinerevolution.net/cgi-bin/statements/statements.pl?author=jbr;date=070320;language=eng and then again http://www.philippinerevolution.net/cgi-bin/statements/statements.pl?author=jbr;date=070409;language=eng), however, with inputs from the military and the PNP, the congressional aspirant that I am supporting is convinced it's her political rival who has a hand on these killings. Hmmm, false information? I just wonder?
- The incumbent congressman is not that fragrant to the country's president because he voted for her impeachment before... Hehehehe...
- The incumbent congressman also has some kind of friction with the PNP...
- Days after the abduction of Emilia, a certain Virginia from Guihulngan came to the house of mayor asking for help. A brother in-law attorney talked with her and advised her to come back with documents like the search warrant. She never returned. News is she started spreading rumors to the progressives claiming that the mayor will only have Emilia released if she would admit that she helped in the killing of the so-called innocent ambush victim. So untrue, but why tell lies? <<<===these are lies... the progressives didn't know anything about this!
So my questions are...
- Who benefits from all these drama?
- Why would someone go to such lengths just to discredit people?
- Why create a division?
- Why be such an asshole?
- Why can't we just live a peaceful co-existence?
Life can be easy... Let's not make it too confusing...

Lol, I know right? I was tempted to do like a countdown and then sing aude lang syne, but yeah that didn't happen, This was better anyway lol. And as far as life being easy, I don't believe that. Life is a difficult confusing game created by some higher power just to see if we can handle it. My personal opinion of course, but I don't think it can be easy, especially not in politics. Sorry if I didn't read the whole thing, I've tried to get into Pillipine politics before, had a young lady friend that lived there for a while, but wow, that stuff is confusing as heck. WIsh you luck in deciphering it. I'll stick with the confusion of love, sensuality, romanticism, and self-indulgence. Which ironically is probably closer related to politics than people give it credit for.
