Media parties
It's Christmas once again and media people would surely get the treat they so deserve. What with the danger and all those lack of sleep that they do just so they would be able to meet their deadlines and come up with stories that the other papers would not be able to get? Hmmm... Media is surely a stressful field...

Last night, the Christmas party kicked off with Globe Telecom treating the media people of Cebu to a night of purely Cebuano fun dubbed "Entablado para sa mga Bisaya (The stage for the Cebuano)." The event happened in Kaona Grill along the A.S. Fortuna food street in Mandaue City. Although not everyone in the media were invited, I was privileged to be one of those that was there. Thanks to Jonjie of JY Gonzales.

While I was at the party, another invitation came my way, this time a trip to Davao for another ArtLink event. Hmmm such a wonder...

Come November 28 is the Media Christmas Party courtesy of Aboitiz Equity Ventures.

The last time I joined Aboitiz's Christmas Party we were cruising along the Mactan Channel on board their fast craft - Supercat. This year, hmmm, since they are about to sell their shipping business, I won't expect the same. But what I would expect is another grandious event that would surpass that extravagant party.

Before I forget, yesterday we celebrated Ms. Ehda Dago-oc's birthday at the newly opened Hukad Restaurant in The Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu. After which we had coffee at the new Vanille Coffee Shop, still at The Terraces. It was so much fun, sans the formality and protocol. Thank you Ms. Ehda (by the way she is one of the best economic reporters in Cebu) for the invitation, I am so honored.

This morning I just got an invitation for the opening of TGI Fridays in Cebu courtesy of Camp Cebu. They will be opening in The Terraces on November 15. On November 12 at 1:45 there will be a sneak preview for invited guests, including me. Hehehehhehe...***
And yes, tomorrow is Inquirer's Fashion and Lifestyle Fashion Show. Also an exclusive, invitation-only chic event. Got an invit last week. But I am not going because I am going to my best friend's wedding and of course my Congresswoman friend's birthday, all tomorrow. I am so excited!
