    It's officially Sinulog Season and Cebu is already booming with traffic, excitement, and more traffic.

    Yesterday was the Sinulog Marathon, participated by more than 3,600 running enthusiasts.

    And then last Friday was the opening salvo, which also ushered the introduction of the 2010 Ms. Cebu contestants. Then on Saturday, the Sinulog sa Kabataan-Lalawigan where Pajo Elementary School got the first prize for the Elementary Level and Tayud National High School for the Secondary Level.

    Last Sunday, the Sinulog sa Kabataan-Dakbayan kicked off with Mabolo Elementary School winning the Elementary Level and Abellana National High School for the Secondary Level.

    Ayala Center Cebu will also be holding a Grand Fiesta Sale with lots of activities to look forward to, capping with the Grand Sinulog Fireworks Display on the evening of the 17th. There is the Balik Cebu Party on the 14th which is a night-long activity featuring the best of the festivity, including a peak on the mardi gras and the entrance of the reigning Ms. Cebu with her court.

    Of course, hotels will also be taking part in the activity. Tomorrow, Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, the only five-star hotel in the city, will be launching Sugbusog, a culinary festival highlighting the best flavors of the region.

    On the 15th is the URCC V, featuring local and international MMA fighters. The weigh in will be on the 14th at the Loft Restor-Bar.
