Raining apples
Last Tuesday, The Telegraph reported that a main road in Keresley, Coventry experienced weird weather - a rain of apples.
The motorists were surprised as 100 apples rained on top of them, good thing it was after the busy hours.
Several theories came about, from the absurd to the scientific.
It was not hard for people to compare it with the Exodus and the rain of frogs, good thing this is something less icky, but very painful should you be caught outside.
Some people think its witchcraft, others credit the incident to some pranksters, while still some believe its from some plane passing over the street.
Weather experts, on the other hand believe that its some air vortex (something like a whirlwind) raising apples from some distant apple orchard, until the force of air subsides causing the apples to fall.

So, do you think this is a sign for the end of times or simply climate change?

By the way, don't be disturbed by the photo. That's not the photo of the event, but some photo I got from Flickr (check the credit, below).

Ok this like totally freaks me out. I have goosebumps right now. Crazy. I don't know what to say other than I hope it's not end times. But I'm sure that's what everyone hoped back in the day of Pharoahs and the release of the plagues such as the frogs, and locusts and what not.interesting story.
Oh my talking about odd stuff LOL wow, I don't think it's a sign of the ends of times I don't believe that's going to happen soon, I think it could be a climate change thing.
Was anyone praying for food?
Probably the wind or a UFO..lol
@SkyyL - that was my first reaction too... guess science has an explanation for everything...
@xXxlovelylollipop - really weird weather these days...
@brianchristopheryates - hehehehe why didn't I think of that...
nice one...
@TroyEllison - UFO would be more exciting
Ok... for sake of rationality, it was probably a plane or something, but it's kind of fun to think that God has a sense of humor and we as humans needed some fun or upbeat to think about. I like to think he has a sense of humor! =)
@hesacontradiction - I so love that attitude
hehehehe
I'm inclined to believe the air vortex theory.
I think I'd put stock in the vortex theory because I've seen the wind take apples off my tree and they go up and then fall down.
@RighteousBruin - :) very sound
@godfatherofgreenbay - thanks for the info
@tribong_upos - Yeah, poor ET lost his apples..lol
