Smoking children, a Thai campaign
This is a wonderful anti-smoking campaign by the Thai Health Promotion Board. The ad is made by Ogilvy Thailand. Way to go!
I love the ad because it is realistic and heartwarming. Sometimes we need to be reminded by people of the things that we already know but refuse to do. With smoking and other destructive habits, its the same. As much as we know that its not good for our health, we keep doing it for the sake of doing it. Habit. Yet, we know. We are not ignorant of it's ill effects.
The thing is, would we want the people we love to follow our bad habits?
What do you think of the campaign?

This is a wonderful video. I love the message and how it is conveyed.
that's a great message, I remember seeing videos of smoking kids in Asia and it was amazing seeing how young some of the kids were that were smoking.
That is so awesome it about made me cry! Ok ok, it made me cry! Sometimes it take a child to teach the grown ups.
@C_L_O_G - same here... love it much...
@godfatherofgreenbay - so true... its just sad really... i see elementary kids smoking in school.. and the sad thing is, its the parents who made these children start the habit... more like just having fun with the kids making them smoke... until it was no longer funny and the kids were already addicted with the habit...
@spinner_mom - totally!
Habits are murder to stop. I drank heavily most of my life and even after I stopped drinking every day and got rid of the physical dependency, I still had a mental habit that turned me into a binge drinker. Any video that helps people from starting a bad habit is a good video.
